The color purple is such a great accent color. Color experts say never to judge a color by itself but rather to view it in the environment you plan to use it. I think that is definitely the best decision when deciding to use purple. I love the color purple when mixed with warm wood tones and a Belgian inspired palette of grays and neutrals. I also adore the combination of purple and an earthy green {photo second to the last}. I admire Charleston interior designer, Amelia Handegan, for her masterful use of color. She is known for her warm palette and use of both purple and burnt orange.
